3 Golden Rules of TrainerRoad
1. Always pump your rear tire up to the same pressure before every ride.
2. Always put the same amount of resistance onto your rear tire from the trainer. Try to come up with a way to remember how much resistance you need to put on. For example: "After tightening the trainer so that it just touches the rear tire, I always turn the knob 5 full turns."
3. Keep your rear tire clean! No dirt, no oil, nothing. This will be easier to do if you use a Trainer Tire for indoor riding (but be sure to put on your regular outdoor tire before going back outside).
